Chicken Whole Leg Without Skin
Description:
Traditional whole chicken leg marinated in yogurt and spices, roasted in a tandoor or oven for smoky, charred perfection.
Ingredients (Serves 4):
4 chicken whole legs
1 cup thick yogurt
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
2 tbsp mustard oil
Steps:
Make deep cuts in chicken legs for marinade absorption.
Mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, spices, lemon juice, and mustard oil. Coat chicken well. Marinate for 3–4 hours.
Roast in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
Baste with butter for extra richness.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with mint chutney, lemon wedges, and onion rings.
