Chicken Leg Piece With Skin

Description:
Tender chicken leg pieces cooked in a smoky tandoor-style, with spices absorbed deep into the skin for maximum juiciness. Perfect for casual dinners or barbecue nights.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 8 chicken leg pieces (with skin)

  • ½ cup yogurt

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tbsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp mustard oil

  • Salt to taste

Steps to Prepare:

  1. Wash, pat dry, and slit the leg pieces.

  2. Prepare marinade with yogurt, spices, mustard oil, and lemon juice.

  3. Coat chicken well, marinate for 2–3 hours.

  4. Grill or bake at 200°C for 25 minutes, turning halfway.

  5. Brush with butter before serving.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with onion salad and pudina chutney.
