Chicken Curry Cut Without Skin

Description:
Tender skinless chicken pieces cooked in a spiced onion-tomato gravy — the classic Indian Sunday lunch curry.

Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • 500g chicken curry cut pieces

  • 2 onions (finely chopped)

  • 3 tomatoes (pureed)

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 3 tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander

Steps:

  1. Heat oil, sauté onions until golden.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook until fragrant.

  3. Add turmeric, chili, coriander powder; stir.

  4. Add tomato puree, cook until oil separates.

  5. Add chicken pieces, salt, and enough water. Cover and cook for 20–25 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish.

Serving Suggestion:
Perfect with steamed rice or chapati, and a wedge of lemon.
