Welcome to ChickeNow (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ChickeNow website and mobile application (“Platform”).
By using the Platform and placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
Nature of Business
ChickeNow operates an online platform for the sale and delivery of raw, non-vegetarian meat products, including but not limited to chicken and other meats. Products are sold strictly for lawful consumption.
Orders & Acceptance
Orders are deemed accepted only after successful payment confirmation. Users are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Once an order is placed, it cannot be modified or cancelled, except as stated in the Cancellation Policy.
Pricing & Payments
All prices displayed are exclusive of delivery or packaging charges unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed via authorised third-party gateways (including Razorpay). ChickeNow is not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, UPI providers, or payment networks. In rare cases, settlement or reversal may take 2–45 working days depending on banking channels.
Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by traffic, weather, government restrictions, or operational issues shall not constitute a breach. Refusal to accept delivery does not entitle the user to a refund.
User Conduct
Users agree not to provide false or misleading information, misuse the Platform, or violate applicable laws or regulations.
Alerts & Communication (DND / DNC Consent)
By registering, users expressly consent to receive communication via call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email, including promotional messages, even if registered under DND/DNC. Users indemnify ChickeNow against any claims arising from such communication.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChickeNow shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability, if any, shall be limited to the order value paid by the user. ChickeNow is not responsible for losses caused by third-party delivery partners or payment gateways. Nothing herein limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence, where prohibited by law.
Force Majeure
ChickeNow shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, network failures, epidemics, or government actions.
Termination
ChickeNow may suspend or terminate user access without notice for breach of these Terms. Provisions relating to liability, indemnity, and governing law shall survive termination.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by Indian law. Courts of Bangalore, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is framed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.
Information Collected
We may collect name, mobile number, email address, delivery address and location data, and order and transaction references. No card or UPI credentials are stored by ChickeNow.
Purpose of Collection
Information is used for order processing and delivery, customer support, legal and regulatory compliance, and service updates and promotions.
Data Sharing
Personal data may be shared with delivery partners, payment gateways, and government or legal authorities when required.
Cookies & Log Data
We use cookies and server logs to monitor usage and improve service quality. Users may disable cookies via browser settings.
Data Security
Reasonable security practices are implemented. However, internet transmission carries inherent risks, which users acknowledge.
User Rights
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Policy Changes
ChickeNow may update this Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Refund Policy
Due to the perishable and hygienic nature of raw meat products, ChickeNow follows a restricted refund policy, permitted only in specific situations.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only if payment is debited but order is not confirmed, duplicate or excess payment is made, or order is cancelled by ChickeNow before dispatch.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are NOT applicable if order is successfully delivered, delivery is delayed, customer refuses delivery, quality concerns are raised after delivery, or incorrect address or unavailability of recipient.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method. Processing time: 5–10 working days, subject to bank timelines. Transaction charges, if any, may be deducted.
Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation
Orders cannot be cancelled once payment is completed. Immediate processing and perishability make cancellation impractical.
Cancellation by ChickeNow
ChickeNow reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability, operational constraints, force majeure events, or suspected fraud or misuse. In such cases, a full refund will be initiated.
